Equine Therapy
Diamond provides therapeutic riding and activities for children and adults with disabilities.
Equine-facilitated therapy
Equine‑facilitated therapy, also known as Equine‑Assisted Therapy (EAT), focuses on mindfulness, grounding, and reflective practice while working alongside our horses. Participants engage in calm, guided activities that support emotional regulation, self‑awareness, and wellbeing.
Our EAT programme at Diamond is designed specifically for adults and teenagers, as the therapeutic methods we use—such as mindfulness exercises, breathwork, and guided equine‑based meditation—are most effective for those age groups.
This is a new and growing activity for us at The Diamond Centre, and we are currently arranging sessions for those who are interested. Please feel free to call the office for more details or to discuss whether our programme may be suitable for you.
