The Diamond Centre relies heavily on voluntary donations to subsidise the cost of providing riding facilities to disabled riders.

Horse Sponsorship
The cost of running The Diamond Centre for Disabled Riders goes up every year and we are currently budgeting over £50,000 per annum on our essential horse and pony expenses. This includes feed, bedding, veterinary charges and farrier fees.
A year’s sponsorship is £1,700, or £150 a month. We are always looking for groups, companies and individuals who would like to sponsor our horses and ponies. Sometimes a sponsor is able to cover the costs for a whole year, others half a year or a partial sponsorship to cover, for example, hay and hard feed.
We have 30 horses and ponies at Diamond and £1,700 is a very helpful contribution towards the direct costs of keeping each one for a year. Of course, this figure does not include the cost of groom’s wages, maintenance of buildings, electricity bills, etc..
Sponsors receive a sponsorship certificate with a photograph of their horse along with their name or the name of their company displayed by the horse’s stable. Sponsors are sent Diamond Newsletters and regular updates on their horse. Sponsors are welcome to visit Diamond on working days and invited to come to special events throughout the year.
We also take group sponsorships, if a company or group of people would like to club together to support a horse!
