Hello, I’m Maz I have been working at Diamond as Yard Manager since Dec 2018 then moved over to the Centre Manager role in July 2021. I love the challenges that come with running a big centre and how keen everyone is to help out and get involved.

Hi – I’m Kate –  I have worked at Diamond since 2007 starting as Head Groom and been RDA Head Coach since 2008. I love working at Diamond with such a great team of staff, volunteers and coaches. I love seeing riders of all ages and abilities grow in confidence and achieve their goals and especially love developing and training coaches.

Hi, I’m Dawn I’ve been at Diamond since September 2021. I really enjoy the different horses and riders, and to see the smile on all the children’s faces when they are in the saddle. I love helping riders improve and grow.

Hello, I’m Hannah. I have been a volunteer at Diamond since 2006, and was thrilled to become a member of staff in 2023. My favourite horse on the yard is Cleo, who I rode regularly when I first started to learn. I love teaching and helping riders to progress.

Hi I’m Ffion, I started as a Junior when I was 13, and am now full time groom and coach. I love working with riders and all the horses and ponies! I’m often found having cuddles with Alfie and chats with Zora (the cat).

Hi I’m Amelia, I’m orignally from the Midlands, and I now live at the Diamond Centre! I joined in April 2023, and love all our horses and ponies. My favourites are Dom and Ebony! I’ve also got a degree in Equine therepy and rehab.

Anthea Pell

Physiotherapist

 I am responsible for organising and running the weekly hippotherapy session where children with significant physical impairments enjoy the movement of a pony, develop postural control in a variety of positions and sometimes they are able to progress and join a riding session with physio supervision. I am also an RDAC and teach or support rides with children/young adults with significant physical difficulties.
 I can give advice where appropriate on the management of current riders to support their coaches and helpers.

Hi I’m Faye and I’m a groom for the Diamond riding centre. My journey at Diamond started in 2003 when I became a junior, then in 2013 I became a member of staff and I absolutely love my position. I love working with the horses, riding, grooming, tacking up and bonding with all of them. We all work very well as a team and encourage each other as well as the disabled riders.

My name is Claire I work in the office as an administrator. I have been with Diamond for over 9 years. I love to see the smile on the riders faces when they are riding.. it’s a very special place to work… I am privileged to work here.

I’m Marcus.  I have been connected with Diamond for 28 years, first as a rider and vaulter, then a volunteer and now a member of staff.  I am proud of the work of Diamond in enriching the lives of riders and love working here.

Hi I’m Liz, I first came to Diamond as a Wednesday evening volunteer in my early 20’s and eight years ago I returned to volunteer then joined the staff as a part-time groom. I work Monday’s when the Centre is closed and mainly coach on my other two mornings.
